In this talk, astrologer, teacher and author, John Wadsworth will present the zodiac wheel as a calendrical device, which is also an ancient alchemical emblem of the soul. John will demonstrate how we can meaningfully integrate the wisdom of the wheel into our own lives. Beginning at the Spring Equinox, the Zodiac reveals its twelve sign images over the course of the solar year, each one rich in myth and meanings drawn from the shifting seasonal patterns of light and dark, which in turn reflect the dance of light and shadow within the soul. Likewise, the twelve agricultural labours of the year correspond to the initiations of the solar hero on a quest for mastery and balance, which become the twelve gateways of the soul on its path to wholeness.
This talk has been specifically timed to coincide with the Spring Equinox, the start of the astrological year, and with the launch of John’s Zodiac Soul Calendar – a companion guide to his book, Your Zodiac Soul. This is a colouring calendar beautifully illustrated by Yuri Leitch, with daily meditations inspired by the sun and moon positions for each day of the year.
