Wed 20th
Glastonbury Inner Light
Solstice Circle
with “Secret Elves” gift sharing

A beautiful and bright community circle to complete our year and celebrate the solstice and the rebirth of the sun together.

Tonight’s circle is a space for you to deeply relax. Take time for yourself to be in the moment and to “let go” of what no longer serves. In the darkness of winter and through the longest nights, powerful transformation is taking place so that we, like all nature, are “reborn” into the new.

What are your hopes and dreams for this new cycle of the year? What would you like to manifest on a personal and on a collective level? What are your prayers and intentions for more healing and peace in the world?

Let’s create some space for doing this together. Love + Prayer + Intention = Powerful! ❤️

There will be candlelight, exquisite music from some of our incredible Glastonbury musicians, including The Wynter Reign, Tareth, and there will be Wordspinner Avalon poetry and some time for sharing. There will also be a special book and greeting cards for sale by three Glastonbury artists.

You are welcome to bring something with you to contribute to the circle if you would like to, such as a poem, a story, or a song. Or just come and listen.

Important: Please also bring a thoughtful, carefully wrapped gift to place in the circle for another to receive. Our Solstice~Christmas gift exchange has become a precious part of our Inner LIght / PLG year, and the idea is to think about what you would like to give (and receive). This is about thoughtfulness, generosity of spirit, and fun!

Please think about this in advance and choose (or even make) something that you feel a real sense of joy in. It can be big or small, however you are able to offer and wish to offer, but something that you would be absolutely delighted to unwrap if you were choosing that mysterious parcel!

What would really make another person smile and experience the surprise of being given a gift that they will cherish? How might your Inner Light friend look at their gift and be reminded of home, of community, of friendship, of kindness?

Please avoid bringing homemade food for this part of the evening, but contributions to the biscuit and tea table are always welcome.

Man, Myth & Magik are so generous in supporting the group by looking after our tickets for many events. There are brilliant gift ideas in this magical shop.

Goddess Hall, 29 Benedict St., Glastonbury, BA6 9NB.
Doors 6.30pm for a start at 7pm. The event will finish at approximately 9 – 9.30pm, and for those who would like to stay later, there will be time for drinks together afterwards at our favourite local pub.

The Goddess Hall is a shoes-off venue. It is warm and cosy with plenty of radiators (and also cushions, blankets, and sheepskins if you’d like to use them). It has a wooden/laminate floor and therefore it is a good idea to bring warm, non-slippy socks or slippers.

Entry tonight is by donation.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our attendees have lowered immune systems. If you have a cough, cold, or any similar type of virus, please stay indoors and look after yourselves and others on this occasion and come and join us in the new year. 🌞
