Wed 13th
John Wadsworth
The Dragon
and
the Serpent-Holder:
The Question of
the 13th Zodiac Sign

Are there any grounds to introduce a 13th member to the zodiac? In this talk, John will explore the hype and misunderstandings around Ophiuchus, the strange tale of Arachne, and suggest Draco, the constellation at the centre of the zodiac wheel, as a very different way of integrating a 13th archetype.

John is a practicing astrologer, teacher, author, and international speaker with 30 years of professional experience in the field. He established the Kairos School of Astrology in Glastonbury in 2010 and runs a 2-year professional training programme through the school. John is a pioneer of experiential, embodied approaches to astrology, including astrodrama and astrological pilgrimage. He has worked closely with the Glastonbury Zodiac for many years and regularly leads sacred journeys into Somerset’s landscape star temple. John holds an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University and is the author of the best-selling book, Your Zodiac Soul.
