The history of incense is an ancient mystery. This evening, Paula will talk about her experiences of working with gums and resins and show you how you can create your own blend of Summer incense. She will include advice on making substitutions for ingredients that are rare and difficult to get hold of.
Paula has always be interested in aromas, perfumes and scents for as long as she can remember. She developed an interest in incenses in the 1990’s after attending a workshop. Paula lives and works in Glastonbury.
There will be a selection of Paula’s own exquisite incense blends to buy on the night, along with her hand-made smudge sticks.
Doors open from 6.30pm for a start at 7pm. If the weather is fine, we will be in the garden so you may like to bring a folding chair or a cushion and something warm to wear as the sun sets. If you don’t bring your own chair we will be able to bring a chair from the house.
There is a car park. Please enter and exit the area extremely carefully as it is a sharp turn in and out of the grounds and there may be people on foot.
