From Yarrow to Agrimony and Red Clover to Plantain, there are many herbs with a very wide range of healing properties. These natural remedies, often used together with other natural healing methods, have stood the test of time.

If you would like help to achieve optimum health, boost your immune system, reduce stress and anxiety, improve digestion, or alleviate pain and inflammation, herbs will help with these and many other health problems.

This workshop is the first of a series that will focus on herbs that can be easily foraged, grown, or sourced. Each workshop will also introduce further natural healing methods that will help with various health challenges.

This series will be presented by Alan Payne, who has over thirty years of experience as an herbalist.
Alan’s understanding of herbs incorporates both physical and metaphysical levels of insight.

The venue is the ground floor of the beautiful Goddess House on Magdalene Street. The day will run between 10am and 4.30 or 5pm, with breaks for lunch and tea.
Tea and light snacks will be provided for the break times. For lunchtime, there are plenty of cafes and interesting shops nearby, or there is Abbey Park or Glastonbury Abbey (with its incredible herb garden to wander through) just a few minutes walk away if you bring a packed lunch. Chalice Well, with its equally incredible herb garden, is around 15 minutes stroll.

Man, Myth and Magik are taking deposits of £35 this week if you would like to pay in two installments, with the second payment either by Friday, July 28th, or on Saturday, July 29th, by arrangement.
This is the shop directly to the left of the entrance to Glastonbury Abbey. The shop is open daily until 5pm (4pm on Sunday).

Bring a notebook and pen. A flask or a bottle of water. The chairs are comfortable, or there are cushions if preferred.

This is the beginning of a wonderful journey into the world and the magic of healing herbs. We are very much looking forward to sharing the workshop and inspiring one another on this exciting, magical path.
