Following on from last week’s sublimely beautiful event at Abbey House, Glastonbury Positive Living Group will continue to explore our relationship with meditation and sharing in this peaceful environment.
This week we are extremely grateful to Ranchor Prime for leading our meditation and sharing with us the wisdom of a lifetime of dedication to the Mantras, Chants and Silence that are his spiritual path.
During the evening the group will have an opportunity to share the collective experience, to comment and respond. We will also be completing the sequence of Agnihotra Fire Ceremonies that take place at sunset.
This is a unique opportunity to experience a deep meditation shared with wonderful people at the heart of this Holiest Earth.
Ranchor Prime is a writer, artist, ecologist and teacher. His books include Vedic Ecology; Cows and the Earth; Talks Between the Soul and God; The Eight Elements: My Journey through the mystery of life; and Prince of Dharma: The Life of The Buddha.
He is currently working on a new book, Dance of Love, which will be released later this year.
Our venue is Abbey House. Doors will open this week from 6.15pm for 6.45/7pm start. If the weather is fine we will be outside and if so, please help us by bringing your own cushion or chair if you can and something warm to wear. If the weather is cool and damp we will be indoors with a ventilated room.
£7 (£6 concs.) on the door or near donation, as you can.
Please attend only if you are well and are prepared to look after by every means, our more vulnerable attendees.
Please bring your own mug or flask and teabag plus snacks if you would like to. Hot water will be provided.
